garage floor
I just bought a house and I finally have a garage for my stang....however the garage is pretty much the basement of the house because its located on a hill, so the walls in the garage are mostly concrete. The garage is very damp and has a small puddle that stays the same size over in one of the corners. The walls have previously been sealed and they appear dry however the floor is damp in several areas. I'd like to speckle paint the whole thing, but need to seal the concrete first. I checked out the dry lok systems at the local hardware store and they are only waranteed for walls, not horizontal surfaces. Does any one have any input on what coudl be used? Any help would certianly be appreciated. Thanks everybody.

I would try and figure out the standing water problem first, it is a clue that somthing is not right in the foundation. You should never have water in your basement.

I had to pass on my dream house because of a bad foundation with very bad water problems. It was an 1898 Victorian, the price was great untill I went into the basement, it would have cost another $150,000 to fix the foundation (the only way to do it right would have been to lift the house, move it and pour a new foundation)[]
