umm..yeah. I have 98Gt and it's 225hp..anywho... You hsould be able to smack the pedal to the floor and burn them like crazy. I do it all the time

You put the car in "1" first gear. You hold your left foot on the brake hard. Slowly give it gas, at about 1500 rps you can put the brake down a little more, when you do this slam the gas to the floor, keep it in the floor until around 5000 rpms where you just pump it to keep it steady, and let go of the brake, it's easy as ****.

Brake stands will burn them tires...... It'll also burn your rotors too 
but not bad its all good.....
Do not rev the motor in N and then drop into 1st!!!! ... Not smart!!!!
They make line locks for like 80 bucks and it saves your tranny and brakes... Also make tranny brakes too....
Just hold the brake to the floor and give it gas same time!!!! Just remember if you are manualy holding it in 1st to shift!
Although you may not be able to get to 2nd lol

What are we talking about? Burnouts or brakestands? 2 different thing...and when combined...all hell breaks loose!

There is an alternative solution to this problem. Dismount the rear tires and throw them into a fire, that will roast them!

....ok....I asked a serious question. I'm sorry that I'm not a mustang buff and I dont have a Cobra that can run 11's. I just asked a question cause I didnt know the answer. If I had known that all I had to do was drop the gear into 1 and slam it to the floor, I wouldnt have asked the question. If anyone has 39,000.00 they want to give away, let me know so I can buy a Cobra like you guys have. I'm a poor college student, I dont have money for a new car, I try to work with what I have.
