From my sn95 Chilton's book - 141 to 191 Ft lbs. Don't see why it wouldn't be the same for a 00' model.

I used a impact gun on mine. I may be mistaken but I think the top of the strut has a groove so you can probably use a heavy duty flat head screw driver.

If you do not have air tools and your just trying to lower it so you can install springs you can just undo the nuts on the topside of the strut and then lower the whole a arm with the floor jack and everything will fall right out. If your trying to replace the struts I heard the sell the tool u need to remove the nut at any sears where they sell craftsman.

You end up doing it that way the screwdriver is going to slip out and you chance scratchin the sh*t outof your fender plus you dont really have any good leverage their. I tried and almost had that happen and I said ok bad idea so I wouldnt reccomend it to anyone.

I am not trying to replace the strut, just trying to install some MM caster/camber plates. So I will need a tool from sears to remove the top strut nut?

I just did that on mine!

Bud... you'll need an impact. I tried a wrench and a screwdriver, broke a screwdriver and almost broke my hand when the screwdriver slipped out. Went to my friend's house who has a compressor (I dont' have one yet) and you just zip it right off.

And to tighten it down, just zip it back on with the impact. I have no noise or loose issues on the CC plates with mine from doing that

ooo while you have everything apart check your ball joints for play. Mine have like 1/2" of movement, it's crazy i'm doin those this weekend too

I belive they are called draglink sockets. Sears has a set of four for 20 dollars. THIS is what you need to do it.
