Anyone have any ideas on where I can find the real Mach 1 hood and intake kit? I've checked all the sites I can think of to no avail....only other thing I can think of is go through Ford... [:'(] (I don't want the CDC one or whatever).

there is a kit for a shaker hood on a 99-04 GT. im not sure if a real one work work unless you had the mach1 4v... but i wouldnt know.

I think you have to go through ford and then modify your brackets for the mach1 hood to fit on a 99-04GT. One guy who has a yellow GT on this forum did it a while back. But it gets expensive.

just buy the shaker and be done with it....its pretty easy to install and as far as ductwork and the atcual intake. cuttin ur hood will be a pain in the *** but, once its done its worth it(as far as looks goes). the unfortunate part about it is that u wont ever see anything from it till u hit about 80. It looks pretty sick i think.

You dont need to do any ghetto fabrication to your hood or the shaker ram air intake, heres everything you need. To give your GT the ram air kit. The OEM Mach 1 hood and shaker intake...........

lol, yeah whoops.. Here this may not be OEM but I would rather buy this one than a stock one. Its carbon fiber and I am sure it fits like OEM. http://www.musclecardirect.com/store...roducts_id=140
