Default What do you think?

WHats up all i am new to the board. i hope this forum isnt like th other ones that i was on with true idiots on it. I know the deal about searching and that good stuff but with my job and my new baby on the way searching is not too much of an option right now. I have a 2001 bullitt and my trans is gone in it. i beleive in my search it says that i have a 3650 i think. whats is the best tranny to put back up in there? i cant afford the 6 speed at all. there was a ford racing website i was looking at and they had a tk 500 and 600 would that be what i need? Plus Plus i also own my own customization shop in harriman TN so i can probably get parts cheap if you guys interested.

I bought it with a magnaflow cat back on it and i just traded my nitrous setup for a superchips programer..... next is clutch and flywheel when i do tranny. Help on the tranny is appreciated

If you can't afford a T-56 you cannot afford a TKO. Expect to pay around 1600-1800 (depending on model) for the TKO, compared to maybe 1900 or so for the 56.

You will need a new bellhousing no matter what trans you pick (other than stock) and depending on what TKO/56 you choose you will need a clutch with a different spline input, and a new yoke. All told I had well over 2500 wrapped up in parts alone on my TKO-500 swap.

Your stock tranny is fine. If it's rebuildable, rebuild it. It's the cheapest route other than a junk yard pull-out.
