Default H-Pipes and Headers?

don't know if this question was asked or not. i want to get a full exhaust including headers but i have to do it one piece at a time. what should i start with? headers, h-pipe (or x-pipe) or mufflers? and if i get a mid pipe will it bolt to stock exhaust manifold? thanks guys.

if your doing a full exhaust, you don't want to buy an x pipe, weld everything on, and then take everything off again to put headers on. get your headers x pipe and cat backs and put them all on at once. i know it sux to wait and have parts sitting around but it will be worth it to wait it out.

If you want longtube headers, then just get the catback for now and save your money to buy the longtube headers and x/h pipe at the same time. If you plan on putting shortube headers on then go ahead and buy your X/H-Pipe because they will fit with shorty headers and your stock manifolds. You need a shorter midpipe to fit longtube headers.

Actually, most H and X pipes you can buy are bolt on mods so you can take them on and off anytime you need to. You need to consider if you want long tube headers or shorties. The long tubes require a shorter mid pipe that will not fit stock mainfolds or shorties. Your stock maifolds will bolt up to most mid pipes, I just installed a MAC o/r mid pipe last week. Bolted up with no problems. Ive been told that the stock manifolds arent that restrictive unless you plan on doing some extensive mods like superchargers or turbos, so i would probably start with the mid pipe or the mufflers.
