RE: Pics..v6 reborn as v8
Thanks Rash! They are 18 x 9 front, 18 x 10.5 rear. After lurking on here for months before making a post, I checked out all your guy's Stangs and listened to exhaust clips, ect. . I made a game plan, and a budget (which I overshot by thousands!)then went to work. I put the Flowmasters on just for the short term until I get my Roush cat back, but after I started her up for the first time yesterday, and heard the BBK long tube, H pipe, Flow combo, I just melted. Anybody wanna buy a roush side exit cat exhaust? lol

ok you need to do a write up and include every single little cost because you're starting to make me want to do this again instead of selling my car and getting a GT...in other words the easier and cheaper way out...but less meaningful (lol)

I would have to disagree, if you have the tools and know how to do the swap it would be far cheaper to swap the v6 into the v8, u can get a 281 gt motor in great shape between 2-3.5k, and if u can do the work yuorself it will be probably cheaper than buying a new gt, plus he gets to pay v6 insurance, worst case scenario it may even out to buying a stock gt. When i did my gt to cobra swap i foudn a complete 96 4v with all accessories, ecu, wiring, radiator for 3400 shipped. I would of paid atleast 6k for a sn95 cobra, plus my gt already had gears and drivetrain mods blah blah, not to mention i pay gt insurance still and instead of paying 6-10k for a cobra i save a few K$ for mods.
