Yea put a blower on a stock non-PI motor and see how long it lasts lol IMO dont go with a S/C just build your engine up or by a new block and build that. Ive been seeing too many blown cars break down lately, some are been personal friends of mine.

Yea if you have ANY plans on putting on a S/C I highly advise you to build a new bottom end(new rods, pistons, crank) because I've seen too many stock ones go out. I have a buddy of mine who ran his 02 GT with a Vortech S/C at a conservative 9psi of boost and it took about 15k miles before he broke some pistons.

i have gone about 11k miles on 10psi without any trouble so far.... car is still running stronger and actually faster... sometimes i spike to 14psi too... stock bottom end...

why does the 98 have 10 more hp than 96-97?

yea, tell me about it.. i have a new bottom end on the way though so its all good if it pops.. haha. one time i have hit 16psi... at 6600rpms... not very safe at all... i do not reccommend it.. my throttle got stuck and i had to cut the motor.

yea, i keep building more and more boost with rpms... throttle got stuck from the throttle body... when i get the car back out of the shop tomorrow i will have to take it off and sand a part of it... it molded where the throttle hits the body and it gets caught... its hard to explain.... i would have to take a picture.. haha
