AFR question????
Hi guys,
i have installed my AEM AFR gauge with the wideband sensor today, but still didnt play with my AFR, just want to make sure of some thing,
when the car is idel the gauge indicates 16+ AFR, which is too rich, and at WOT indicating 12.5-, so is that right??? shall i now adjust it with my X CAL II? or there is a problem with it?????

RE: AFR question????
with air fuel gauges... they are only accurate when you are at WOT... the one in my truck will go up and down till i get on it... then it will level out and light only a couple lights to show where i am...

RE: AFR question????
gents,
after spending 3Hrs adjusting the AFR by Xcal II, here is the result,
the best AFR for my car was in range of 12.7-13.0, this ratio added to my ride a noticable power, approximating 5-10HP, to be more clear my car used to burn like hell in 1st and 2nd and some times in 3rd, but after adjusting the AFR u could here the tires untill 4th gear.
plus in my way back home i've raced 2 chevy's, 1st with Lumina SS "LS1" mildly modded {L/T's, Exhst and 90mm T/B with LS2 intake}, in distance of 700m from 0mph, the result was me in front of him by 50m atleast, 2nd race was with a highly modded LT1{full bolt ons, CAM, rear end ratio gear and high comp pistons}, in distance of 1mile "long race", the result was me in front of him by 5m, bare in mind that the weather temprature here is arround 38-40c.
