Well if yes....I was just going to see how much you have invested into your car so far, and how much you are looking to spend overall on the stang?

The '01 was my DD and as of right now, I have about $20-22K into it not including the cost of the car.

right now it's my DD, as I'm in school. I'm planning on buying a beater/secondary car to cruise around in this fall before winter... like a ford ranger or a cavalier, escort etc etc something small and simple

my parents flat out bought the car for me for $4500...and I'm paying this loan off. I'm about half way done. Once I'm done with school and have the car paid off, I plan on going absolutely ***** to the wall with the engine. For now, though, I'm planning on swapping in an inexpensive low milage PI motor to hold me over.

...nope! I've got a great rusted-out 91 buick century custom for ripping up the streets everyday. The stang is in the garage most of the time, unless it's nice weather and not much money (compared to some) in it....full exhaust, new tires, short shifter = $2150.
