Default When do you shift while daily driving?

Around what RPM do you shift while daily driving (For those driving a FIVE SPEED transmission...)? I shift around 2000 to 2500 RPM to conserve gas.

Depends on if the cops are around . My shift points will vary though from gear to gear, but usually no higher than 3500.

Yea I shift around 3K to conserve the gas when Im just cruising around... Because when your just cruising theres really no point bringing it to 5K all the time, it just makes no sense...

I usually always rip 1st, and like 4K in 2nd.... But then 3rd and 4th... I basically go right to 4th and shift around 3K.

Obviously if Im "Driving to drive" then Ill rip it...

Lmao ^^. I usually rip 1st to 4k, 2nd to 3k, and then 2 from any other gear then on.

2000-2200 is pretty good... my exhaust starts the trademark flowmaster drone at 2200, so I go by audio just before that point and shift... I take 4th a little higher (to get to 55/cruising speed before shifting to 5th).
