Default lowering

got a ? if i use only new springs to lower my car, will it damage it in the long run?

No the springs shouldn't hurt your car. If there is something already going bad, then replacing to performance parts may accelerate the process.

Well, sort of..


Lowering your car, changes a lot of things that were designed for that specific height and spring tension... Yes, putting them can and usually does accelerate wear and failure of things like balljoints, shocks/struts, bushings, etc.. Will it absolutely do this?? Well, that depends on how you drive your car...


But in short, it usually doesn't harm too much at all.. Just remember to get an alignment, and watch out for the potholes, major bumps, and any type of "Dukes of Hazard," type driving, and you should be all set...
