Default new motor

ok i was wanting to do the pi swap on my car but i found a 2002 4.6 with 34000 miles on it for 1500 dollars. so which would be the best way to go. also would i need a new tranny

Thats alot for a motor with that many miles on it. I can get you a '99 4.6 remanufactured with a 3year, 100K mile warranty for 2k. Let me know if you need any help.

just drop it in. make some brackets for your coil packs and swap over the wiring harness from your old motor. good call doing a motor swap vs pi swap.
