Default Supercharger question

About to purchase a s Vortech SC, complete kit. I plan to run 6-8 lbs of bost. With 3.73's, a good tune, and some MT DR's I am hoping to get mid to high 11's. Anyone see this being a problem? How long will my stock shortblock last if I keep her under 5700 RPM? I don't plan to do alot of track racing, just the odd street race ;-)

I think you'll need to do some more work to your exhaust and suspension before those numbers are achievable. But who knows
