What's better to use, the RTV sealant or the gasket?

The shifter gasket is the best way to go. Not only because I sell them. I used them. I've sold over 3,000 sets. Can't beat the price. Only $6.00 for the TR-3650 set. The gasket will definitely make your shifter quieter. A gasket naturally provides a better seal because it provides a 360 degree seal.

Well the MGW shifter and Gripper ball w/ silver 5 spd logo will be on its way. Can't wait to get it in and slam it through the gears!
