That's a really good time dude. Congrat's.
I believe yoy guy's sport the 8.8 rear end, which is a stout piece!
I have a full size bronco with the 8.8, 4.10 gear's, a detroit locker and 35" mud tire's all spun by a 351.
I am far from easy on that rig and have yet to hurt the rear end, so I think you guy's are safe.
Your LT's probably gave you a couple of tenth's, but your DR's took off a solid 1/2 a second or more.
I personally think that you late model GT owner's who have manual's should do DR's as a first mod, as long as you can afford to change tire's more often.
Everyone of you should be high 13's with that mod alone.

Why would you sell a 71 roadrunner?[]
Getting slicks as your backup tires is the only way to go 15incher wrapped in MT meats ftw!!!!

. . . thats whats so great about Mustangs. they're sooo underrated from the factory and when you get to the track all the GM boys think you dont have $#!+. The greatist satisfaction in the world is seeing a GM in your rear view mirror. . . im still working on those damn 6.0 GTO's!!! Damn Holden!!!

I am having trouble digesting that trap speed...

i can understand the 13.7 (though i would have assumed it would take more than a 2.0 60' on a nearly stock GT) to run such a time..

but assuming you got decent traction, like you did, and many lightly modded new edge stangs are trapping 97-98, i would have assumed a trap at the HIGHEST of 99,,,

the more traction, the less trap speed...

oh well, congrat's man,, i need 1 more shot at my 13.5-13.6.....

2.149 60' just didnt please me too well last time out [:-]

Next to getting married, selling that Plymouth was the stupidest thing I think I have ever done.

So your running slicks on the stock axles?? I really want to do slicks, but I'm pretty sure I'll blow my axles.
