It depends on what somebody would charge cheap. Normally I'll tell a guy I'd help and he'd knock some money off. That's how I did with my exhaust (he had a lift)

I was looking at the Royal Purple they have it at the local speedshop here. What weight should i get and how many quarts will it take. How hard is it to change the fluid in a manual transmisison.

if i remember correctly there should be a plug on the side of the tranny that you take out then you can pump the new fluid in. to drain it id just take out the driveshaft and jack up the front and let the fluid run out.

Recommend = Amsoil
How Much = Til its full
Pull the drain plug (could be the lowest tail shaft bolt or a pipe plug on the bottom), let 'er drain good. Insert plug. Remove fill plug. Fill 'er up. Go Play.

old thread but now i actully am getting around to get this done. I think I am going to go with the Royal Purple Max gear, what wieght should be used in my tranny. And just fill it till it comes out the fill plug right, how much is this so i know how much to buy. Also where can the sycromax be purchased if i go with that.
