I have never heard anything about the performance of mid-lengths as well. I would like to know too. I suspect the do not add as much power as LT's though.

I don't think that anyone has done midlenghts on their 4.6 yet in this forum.

I don't think anything is going to match the power increase of LTs, but midlengths are definatly supposed to outperform shorties (being that shorties are nearly useless, this shouldn't be hard though).

thank you the car im lookin at buyin has basanni mid length headers on it, i was just wondering if gains would be seen over shorties. thanks.

another thing i always wanted to know y would some one pay money for aftermarket shorties when that is basically wat you have stock bolted to the motor already.

They look like they should really flow better, but the performance gains are minimal until you step up to forced induction, and even at that point they still won't make the power LTs will.

They should sound better than stock manfolds though.
