Default K&N Oiling...

I put in my K&N air filter the other day. How often am I supposed to oil it?

Hell, I think it says something like every 20K miles?

They claim that it acutally filters better and better as it gets dirty (up to a point) while not flowing any less. Definatly not nessicarry to clean and reoil it ever 10k or so.

You don't have to reoil it at all unless you clean it though.

I believe the instructions that come w/ it tell you to clean and re-oil it every 50,000 miles, but I'd probably clean it a little more often than that, especially if you're ever on gravel roads or something like that. I realize it might seem like blasphemy to take a mustang on a gravel or dirt road, but some of us are forced to do it from time to time.
