Default Tuner Question??

Hey guys, I got my nitrous kit installed and I want to retard my timing with my sct xcal 2 tuner. Under spark advancement is has setting from -14 to 4, I was wondering what the stock is?? I just want to bump my timing down 3 degrees from stock. Any ideas what I should set it at??

Its probably set at between 15 and 30' depending on what rpms your at and how far the throttle is depressed. The 4.6's have variable timing. Thats what most aftermarket tuners set your timing at. Getting the timing right is a very dificult and dangerous thing. Dont go to far either way or you can have BIG problems. Realistically you should take it to a dyno and have them do it.
