no I hope not that pig is being ate up by the ZO6 the GT500 12.3 with a pro the Z06 stock with a pro has hit 11.3 and all granny shifter can get the ZO6 to go 11.7 I hope ford steps up or we are going to get knocked down

Besides. Ford made mustangs right where they are for insurance reasons and so they would sell so many for cheap. If any one wants to talk $#!+ that their chevy is so much better than your mustang just be like well COrvette is chevys top player. Mustang isnt. Z-06 is all chevy's got . . . Ford has the GT. Then see who laughs.

well, 550 hp to 505 hp in a lighter package is not comp? And ford to NOT compete with the Z06? The Z06 is a supercar. the 500hp GT500 DOES compete with the 505 Z06? C'mon, this Cobra is our only hope!!

BECAUSE ford made/makes so much money from the mustang they really should have made the shelby gt500 lighter. I mean think about it chevy sells so many vettes!, thats why they made such a monster of a ZO6. Another example is how the Viper got passed up performance wise by the ZO6 because Dodge doesnt sell enough Vipers. Chevy unlike dodge saw a reason to make a very high performance car because from the previous years the corvette sold a lot. So they had the funds to make the car and the confidence for future profit, unlike Dodge...

Any one who compares the GT to the Z06 is right. I hate to say it, but DAMN FORD, lets put something on the table!!! The Z06 with a heads and cam swap is a MONSTER! The GT500 is our only hope right now, is anyone with me! And the Z06 is N/A!!

Yeah but chevy doesnt sell a lot of Z-06's. It sells a lot of Vettes but ive only seen one 427 vette out since they've made them. A GT500 could roast a 405 hp vette no problem. But they cant touch the z-06's heres how the market works:
Mustang GT = GTO (not that it does a good job it just out sells them)
Mustang Cobra = Vette
Ford GT = z-06
That is how the market is set up. Like i said apples to oranges.
