you just need to use the correct valve covers is all. what pi cams did you use? the ones that came with the heads or a different set?

the windsor heads will bolt to the romeo block with no issues...

I used the cams that came with the head...I dont see how my cam shaft is shorting then eveybody elses...you think he messed up and just doesnt want to take the blame?Ill take some pics tomorrow of the link...it looks like someone tryd to take it apart but never finished.

how much did it cost for you to do your block over...you have forge so i know its going to be a little more...how much should i expect to pay for stock internals...im going to college nect year so im tight in cash

my build is pretty expensive since i'm using a Teksid Aluminum block and Forged Cobra crank....now you can use your block and crank to save money. Expect to pay about $1000 for nice forged rods/pistons. I bought mine from www.vtengines.com you will need some machining to your block to clean it up and your rods and pistons will need to be balanced with your stock crank...all this adds a few hundred dollars. Assembly is another few dollars ...lol its not cheap! Where do you live? It helps to have a good modular builder in your area.

the 99 heads do work fine...many many have done that exact swap...i think your man messed up the timing and had ptv plain and simple.
