I live right outside tampa fl...idk if i should just buy another motor with low miles...im going to call around some shopes tomorrow and also ford...just for giggles..while im on the phone ill ask the head problem.

LOL I may have been off on the years of the engines but I do know that the cams are the same size. Bottom line is the guy that did the timing screwed the pooch and caused PTV contact. Unless you forgot to put that cam spacer in when you installed them. But if not he should pay for the rebuild.

When it comes to 2V 4.6 engines, there are as many as 12 different castings, but the basic architecture is the same so any heads will bolt up.

Cam spacers?Where does it go?I bolted on the heads and had him set the timing...is it something easy to miss?

Well if the cams were never removed from the heads i wouldnt worry but some times when guys do a cam swap they forget the little spacer which is not good.
