$2400 to play with!!!! What to do
2001 Mustang Bullitt --- 4.6l, stock engine
I have $2400 to play with --- well---i am buying a tranny for $1000 so i have $1400 to play with. here is what i thought about doin-- what do you think
Racing clutch/ light weight flywheel --- $500
Aluminum Drive Shaft - $300
X pipe w/ out cats -- $200
AC compressor -- $100
Cold Air intake ---- $200+
What you guys think? What are your personal preferred Brands?
or maybe even a short throw shifter???

the cams will cost almost all 1400. installed.
udps, i'd go with steeda, thats the 200$ you mentioned for cai, just get a k&n if you dont have it now.
super chips, well i wouldnt use a tune for performance but if it can caliberate for gears, then i'd get gears now, and have em installed, all should cost around 4-700$ depending on location, and your connection to a decent mechanic.
idk what you want out of your 1400 and how you wanna spend it. but if you want a smile.
short throw shifter (mgw) : 150$ish
x-pipe: +mil eliminators 200-240$
udps (steeda) 200$
clutch + flywheel 4-600$
still leaves some extra for a catback if you dont have it, or a set of l/t's.
why the a/c compressor?

Minus the flywheel also. Waste of money if you ask me.
If getting a shifter. You might try the MGW for $180.00
Cams = like they stated above.
Forget the CAI (waste of money) save up for an SC
Driveshaft is a 50/50 yes/no imo
