Default Really confused about my track times ??

So i went to ennis the other night as was rather dissapointed. Before i had ran at little river and i ran a 14.0 at 101 with a 2.29 60ft [:@], without the predator tune and the udp's. So when i went to ennis i thought i was gonna break into the 13s no problem...Nope the best i could do was mid 14s with a highest trap speed of 96 and a 2.2 60 ft (i know i need tires) [:@]..I dont know whether its the sh!tty predator tune, whether it was 90+ degrees outside and humid as hell, or maybe im leanin out, but the car seemed to lose a lot of its pep around 3rd. What yall think ??

Nope no extra weight. It just seemed like to me the car was really strugglin around and after 3rd. Even with the slow 60fts i should still be trappin around 100 cause i def have the power to do it, but all i could get was 96 mph...i took the diablo tune off and put the factory tune back on i was so pissed off. Im just gonna wait till i can get to a dyno or get a custom tune, i just dont know whats wrong

I think it was probably the weather, 90s is hot to be racing and your trap speed suffered a lot because of it. Rest assured, trapping 101mph is plenty good enough for 13s, dont let it bother you.

Your only real problems are the track conditions and your 60'. Should be good for mid 13s with a good 1.8~ 60'

Its the weather. I went to the track and ran 14.0 no problem (remember im at 5500 feet so take a second off almost for altitude so its more like 13.0) and it was like 55' and cool and slightly misty almost outside. Perfect weather. I went back too weeks later. . . with more mods and could only do 14.5 and it was 98' outside. I ran my car twice and then poped the hood and bought a bag of ice and threw it on my upper intake and waited it out. Needless to say it never got cooler than 88 that evening. Cool, dense air makes a world of difference, in my opinion. But mostly becuase of my altitude.
