No, it's more of a squeaking noise. I dont think its the clutch, I only have 27k on the car
I only have 22K on my 04 and the throwout bearing is chirping.

it could be a bad bearing in one of your pulleys. I had a loud squeaking noise and thought it was my alternator at first, but it turned out it was just the bearing on the pulley next to the tensioner. i took it off and had sum1 replace it for like 10 bucks.

OH my car made that exact noise right before the engine blew up and then seized!!!

blew up and then seize?? WTF? lol

It could easily be a belt or pulley, check the simple and easy to replace stuff first. Then again our TOB are known to be pieces of poo

My throwout bearing is noisy... has been since I got my stang with 7500 miles. Enough to hear it over the exhaust at idle from 30-40' away if you know what you're listening for.

Snowball's chance in hell. They don't do -any- work for free. Wouldn't honor TSB's while I was under warranty, and since the throwout bearing is a part that's designed to wear out, they won't touch it. That's the dealerships around here though, I bought my stang in FL from Plantation Ford, they're a helpful bunch and would cover it for me but they're about 1300 miles away at this point [8D]

Edit: I suppose it's all for the better though, I like doing all of my own work on my stang. When my clutch gives out I'll replace the whole deal with nicer stuff. I still need to figure out what Ford does with the steering rack and pinion to correct the clunk/creek noise because I've got that now... and it creeks just barely to the right of center, so whenever I start to make a right turn or switch lanes to the right I get a creek from it [:@]

Edit 2: And a slight tick from the passenger-side head... par for the course with the Romeo block though... Not major and most wouldn't notice it but I hear it when I pull in my garage. Could just be injectors clicking... not an issue to address right now though because my stang hasn't burned a drop of oil this last 5000 miles... Was comforting to see when I changed the oil.

that sucks dude. Our dealer is usually pretty helpful in situations like that.
