MY DD is actually my Mustang. I have a 96 Nissan Sentra that was my first car and it still runs great. But I cant actually bring myself to drive that everyday when I have my stang. Not even the super high premium gas prices can make me not drive the stang everyday haha

Well I choose the non-pi models because you can't get a pi engine in that sexy a$$ body from 96-98(imo) from the factory. I have learned a lot too. And I am not really worried about stock power because I plan to "build it", kinda. I also thought about getting a pi model to start with but since my 96 has been gone I realized how much more I like that body. To me if you are getting a mustang(thats not a 4v cobra or mach) and plan to get some good power (400rwhp) I think the choice of which one should come down to the body you want because you are gonna have to at least supercharge it and all 4.6 GT's are limited to around 400rwhp on the stock bottom end. Plus if I wanted I could get a non-pi car and drop a pi engine in it and still come out cheaper. I really just want that body and from what I see it might even be better for me to get a 94-95 5.0, swap the lights, and build it for N/A-Spray since it's the same body.

I think stangs are great for DD. I mean one with a nice supercharger with say 350-400rwhp. Thats cool not too much and great power for playing sometimes on the street. I think they serve better as DD than anything else, maybe messy rainy days and snow for those that get it could have beater cars. But for me I couldn't own one that was a weekend toy. It's just too hard not to drive it. My next one will just stay in on rainy days since in Ga snow is rare.

That's my feelings exactly, which is why my car is a daily driver. I have a honda civic I could drive to work most days, but its just too damn fun driving my car.

My mustang was my DD but after the S/C I just couldnt keep out of the boost and I figured it was only a matter of time till I started racking up tickets, plus I was only getting about 16-17mpg. Now I have a 1994 Toyota Camry and I love it, its so slow when I get in my Mustang after 2-3 days of driving the Camry I feel like I just started driving a Viper. Now I know why others are surprised when I complain about my car not being fast enough. My advice, get an old Honda/Toyota. They last along time, with unbeatable gas mileage.
