Holy crap those must be a hrad 22k miles. Did you over fill the oil? Are you sure its not leaking? 4quarts in four days, I would quit driving it until I fixed that. I seriously doubt its just a bad ring, that much oil would foul a plug and you would hear it.

I already tried the ford route and they said no problem about your mods (and i told them everything). Then when the car got there they voided the warranty[:@].

my number 8 cyl sparkplug is getting fouled and covered with oil. When the plug is clean I have no loss in power at all.

did they actually void it in writing or something? I'd try demodding it from the mods in question and taking it to a different dealer maybe....

Well the car was sent there the day before i came back to Iraq. My wife had to deal with them and they told her its voided. They listed all of my mods as voiding the warranty ie exhaust, intake, suspension. I would try to de mod it but it would be less work to spend alittle money and throw a new shortblock in there.

how much $$ can you spend. a new long block from ford is about 3000

i'd look into a beefier one from like vt engines or something

Exhaust and suspension is BS, the intake COULD cause the car to run lean which would burn out the rings so I would take off the intake and take it to a dealership.

I have about $5000 to spend. Im looking at the MMR street mod 900. I have VT stage 2 cams sitting at home. Patriot performance high lift spring kit which comes with springs, titanum seats, seals, retainers and locks. I also have new head gaskets and bolts and plan to pull the heads and port them myself. Just have to wait to see how the test goes on the shortblock.

You MUST have a leak.. I mean, even if your rings are almost not even there, and the valve seals are almost non existent, you'd more than just foul 1 plug.

What kind of RPM's were you at when you were doing the 600 miles?? I've noticed on my car, if I run it at higher RPMs for longer periods of time, I eat oil quite astonishingly... I mean, at a rate of a half a quart per 500miles, but NO WHERE Near 4qts in 600 miles...

And you're sure that there are no holes in your oil pan, or the oil pan seal?? No puddles under the car??

Yeah. I mean either way I dont really care if its bad I buy a new shortblock and build the old one over time. If its still good I pay off a couple of bills (wifes idea). So I guess I'm just trying to look at the brightside of this situation. But it still really SUCKS A$$
