Is a catback worth it for me?

Is a catback worth it for me?
Anyone out there with similar mods as me notice a difference after they switched to a catback? I have the 40 series flowmasters welded in and it sounds good, but my track times are almost a second off of what they should be. Im wondering if its because my exhaust is getting bottled up in the stock catback and flowmaster mufflers. I dynoed at 290rwhp and the best track time i could get was a 14.1!!!! Any suggestions as to what could be causing the bad times would be great! Thanks.

It's a good possibility, your engine needs to be able to breath and exhale... Looks like it's breathing fine... But definately not exhaling properly. Between your midpipe and weld in's it's very restricted. You will probrably notice a big difference with a new midpipe and catback as you will go from a 2 1/4 inch to a 2 1/2 inch exhaust all the way back from the manifold.
