New brakes/rotors squeeking.
I put new brakes and rotors and all 4's. The fronts are fine. The rears are squeeking. I put it out for a really hard run after I got done... the drivers side rear was smoking a bit when I came to a stop... everything was hott as ****. The passenger side was fine. The passenger side i didnt put the clips on the new pads; on the drivers side I did... it was a struggle to get the caliper back on with the clips. So i figured well maybe its sticking so I took the clips off and tried again. I didnt give it a good run cause it was squeeking when coming to a stop.
Any suggestions... I dont think I missed anything. Everyone says working on the rear brakes/springs anything is easier. F' that fronts are much easier to deal with...

RE: New brakes/rotors squeeking.
Yeah, i went easy on them for a while starting and stopping from about 45 mph. These are cheapo rear brake pads... the ones on the front are high performance.

ooo i think i know what it is.
its the cheap brake pads. when you look at the pad material are the edges 90 degrees or are they tapered? the block pads can cause noise until the edges are run down

Well i just took it for another run... taking those clips off fixed the heat problem; so its fine to drive. Just that damn ear piercing squeek. [:@]
