275 40 R17 or 18 depending on the rims. Thats the biggest I was told I could go on my '02 with out rubbing.

oops sorry didnt read your post all the way through. Dont get the above tires I just posted if your planning on going to the track. You might wanna check out some drag radials such as nittos.

yeah... get some 275 40 R17 Nitto 555R extreme drag radials. The life is suppose to equal about 12,000 miles if you dont burn them that bad all the time. They run like 179.00 a tire for that size.
