Default got a couple hundred bucks left

well i inherited 2000 dollars and bought the parts in my sig that are in the mail. i got a couple hundred bucks left out of the inheritance and was trying to figure out what to buy. either a mgw short shifter or full-length subframe connectors.. what would you guys go with?? please dont say save the money for installation, because i already have that.

If it was between the sub-frame connectors and shifter on my car, I'd do the sub-frames.

However, more than likely you're a straight shot guy so go with the shifter. The sub-frame connectors aren't going to do you much unless you like the curves.

im a 100% straight shot guy, so go with the shifter. ive heard the sub-frame connectors help with traction, is that true??

A little but, not so much. I think if you're looking for 1/4 mile times, you'd gain a better advantage with the shifter over the SFC's. It's not going to make your car faster, but it will make your shifts faster so your E.T.'s will go down.

You can't go wrong with that shifter. Just remember, it's not going to be as quite as your stock shifter. You're going to hear the gear whine that is always there through the MGW. The stock shifter just has the rubber in it to hush it down. That's also why the stock shifter is a piece of junk.
