ORIGINAL: St4ng07ok your stock gears were prolly 3.27'severy one time the drive shaft spins the tires move 3.27 rotations. with 4.10s every one time the driveshaft spin the tires move 4.10 rotations. So thus you have more accleration but less top speed.
Sorry but that is backwards. With 4.10's every time the rear wheels turn once the motor turns 4.10 revolutions. Same way with the stockers only then the crank would turn 3.27 times for each turn of the rear wheel. It's like a 10 speed bike. In first gear it;s easier to turn the rear wheel but you can't go as fast as say in 5th gear which is harder to turn but can go faster. With 4.10's the engine can rev easier but your top speed in each gear is less than if it had the 3.27's. mark
