Default rearmount turbo kit for 96-04 gt

looks much easier than screwing around with all the pipeing in the front of the car. price looks kind of low, what do you all think? clicky here

seems like an awesome deal for what it is. dunno how well the turbo would do under neath w/ rain or anything, maybe someone can chime in. also it takes a lot more flow for the exhaust to reach the turbo, so maybe longer spool times? it also has to travel a long way to go back to the intake.

i have seen a lot of sts turbo systems, for camaros. i dont really know how they resond under hard acceleration. might want to ask some camaro guys, they only other downside is u dont have true dual exhaust anymore and most system will just give u one tail pipe. but this one seams different.

this is not the turbo kit fetured in the installed pictures. this is a homemade turbo kit. look its an off road h pipe a y pipe and a turbo the tubing isnt even bent. if you knew how to weld you could build this in a day

u need mufflers... so this eliminates mufflers and makes your car not street legal?

turbo is a muffler. a "muffler" is anything that muffles the sound

i have a friend with a rear mount sts turbo kit on a trans am its awesome sounds mean and makes serous power hes making 680rwhp but i didnt notice if it said what size turbo it is you need a big a$$ turbo to make any power with a rear mount sngle turbo. it says garret T3/T4 that is just the ehaust housing size its probably just a 50 trim from the minimal hp gain stated in the ad and also you should use atleast 3 inch piping thats using stock size piping but it will work but you wont recieve maximum power you can make some serious power by just changing to a bigger turbo like atleast a gt35 and bumping the boost to say 8-10 lbs
