Yea I hear you, I personally don't like the sound of a blower. I've spent about a grand so far at Modular Madness myself. Think im going to forge my internals along with a Cobra block. Then toss some aggressive cams, nice ported heads and intake on there. Have to go from the bottom up since I need to toss a stall in it being an auto. Then my long tubes last, I almost went the blower route but if I did Id want to forge it all up anyways. Would of wanted to get the fullest safest potential from a blown set up if I went that direction. But then again the blower sound isn't my thing. Again nice car man treat it right.

27k miles and 25k... yeah obituaries, i was goin to do that same thing... but there's just so much to do... really. If the power and money were equal between the Cobra im getting now, and the GT - i'd still go Cobra because it's a Cobra... the body kit, the Seats, the value of having the Cobra, but bottom line to build up my GT safely, and to compete with this car - it'd cost me more in the end... and not only that... the mpg is BETTER in the Cobra then my GT right now! haha go figure! Damn 6spds!

Edit: solo the reason is, is because I love my car.. i've had so much fun building it, and learning with it. Im excited as all hell about the Cobra that i should have on thursday, but it really is bittersweet... I was joking with my gf, ill drive it home and giggle while sobbing at the same time, haha

Yep Cobras aren't a dime a dozen especially not around here. Hell all there is are is a few Trans ams, Camaros and enough v6Mustangs to make you sick to your stomach. You're definitly right about the cost and all the crap involved though. It blows haha, but its the price paid to go n/a on a modular. You're trading in your GT for the Cobra? 25k and 27k miles thats pretty nice man, if so where at Sarasota Ford? Gives you plenty of time to pay that thing off and make it a monster waaay before its on its death bed.
