Default Vortech Supercharger on 66k engine

Rather than taking my 4 grand and using that to finish paying off my mustang, I was planning on using that money to purchase a vortech supercharger. The only stipulation is that I don't want to blow up my engine since I am still making car payments on it. I was planning on just running stock boost and I was wondering if that will do damage to my stock block? I don't want to blow up my car just more power. Everything seems to run good. No leaks or anything.

As long as you don't go crazy on the boost you should be fine.. You can probably run 8 lbs. of boost and get a good 370 WHP.. Run 10 lbs. and get up to about 390 or so..

If your worried then go low on the boost and be safe..
