hey congrats man.. im the same way,

clutch dump around 3K yields a small chirp then im gone (oh, dont forget some bogging..lol)

when youre at the track, make sure your first run, you heat them up with a mild 2nd gear burnout

just enough to get a small bit of smoke (no smoke show, but you want them hot)
then i believe that according to the MT site, the rest of your burnouts should be smaller, still warm, just maybe a hint of smoke, compared to obvious smoke the first time

and with your car man, this coming from experiance, youre going to want to launch higher than 3500 rpms on those HOT STICKY bastards,, ive got nearly teh same mods and only pulled a 2.05 the time before last cause i bogged each and every time

i mean, you can start wherever you want, but i would recommend eventually going higher after youre dissapointed the first few times

good luck and enjoy EDIT: i forgot you have ET STREETS,, you might want to check out the mickeythompsontires.com site and see what they say about your techniques:EDIT
