I spoke with Gunnar from Patriot Performance and he said that they installed their Stage II heads and cams in a bone stock 02 GT. The car's pre-mod Dyno was 222 rwhp and post mod was 296 rwhp.

To anyone with Patriot heads and cams: Does this sound accurrate?

i dunno they say a really good set of heads and cams can give you up to 100 hp. But i always though that was on race applications not on a simple stage 2 swap.

I thought a stock PI motor was around 260 rwhp, or is that crank hp?

Its crank hp [sm=boohoo.gif][sm=boosign.gif] but they say mustangs are actually 270-280 crank hp. Ford ALWAYS undercuts there hp raitings. Like the new GT is close to 600 hp when they say its only a measely 550. Same deal with the gt500 they underrated it 25 to 50 hp.

im pretty sure thats crank...cuz ive seen a 05 gt dyno only like 250

Yeah they say our style of stangs is like 270-280 crank and the new 3v are actually 310-320 crank. Gee ford finally builds a GT that will run with an Ls1 SS camaro and then they go and make the new camaro's like 400 hp. Well i guess thats why we have the new GT500 not to mention our mustang savior the Saleen Extreme rated at something like 650 hp (it could be less i dont remember)

Patriot heads is like 20 minutes from my house over in rainbow city. They are doing my heads for me. I will post of pics as soon as they are done. My MMR shortblock will be here next week to hopefully.
