Default Twin Turbo

Alright you guys all know the engine set up im building. 5.1 stroker, patriot stage 3 heads, custom comp cams with a blowzilla kenne bell blower on top. I think i may have just found something better. Get a P-51 intake manifold and then put these bad boys on it: Twin-Turbo Get the stage 2 57mm kit and then go from there. That way when i pop the hood all ppl see is a measley CAI going into the fenderwell. Plus no s/c can put out the power a tt can without some crazy pulley. Im hoping for 800-900 rwhp. Im gonna need a lot of chassis work first lol. Whadya guys think?

setup sounds good....hope you have very deep pockets. trust me this will cost tens of thousands to achieve with any hope of reliability. is this going to be a street car? what's the highest hp you have driven or been in? the reason i ask is most people i see with similar goals/dreams haven't been in and have certainly never driven anything over 500whp. let me tell you my stang is a street car that makes over 700whp (on a mustang dyno so very close to 800whp on a dynojet) and most of my car buddies with around 500whp are very uncomfortable (ie. scare as hell) in my stang. even with et streets it is difficult to get traction in any gear and getting sideways at 60+ mph is something you better be good at the first time or you won't have you car (or life) very long. i'm running "only" 17psi so there's a lot more power to be had...but it's just about pointless since tracion is already an issue (+ my tranny isn't built to take on any more tq) and i have everything for suspension (- a 10pt). i'm not trying to persuade you out of your goal...i would just like to see where you're at and make sure you know what to expect. too many people read magazine articles on big hp street cars and get the wrong impression. good luck

Ive driven a 1100 rwhp twin turbo nitrous & propaine injected dodge viper with totally reworked suspension, full cage and everything. I know about the power trust me. By the way that was 1100 rwhp without the 250 shot of N2O and LP.

Cost of the TT mustang Build up:

Twin turbo kit: almost $7K
Stroker kit with block: $2500
Heads: $1400
Cams: $700
Roll Cage: $200 welded in myself

How is this going to cost tens of thousands of dollars?
I figure between 10 and 20.

My fiancee is going to school to be a RN right now and im training to be a firefighter. Money is not going to be an issue lol.

Ha ha i actually know this dude that has a Twin turbo V-6 stroker built out of a 03 Mustang coupe. He has all the cheesy V-6 stuff still on it (being that its a v-6) He makes 580 rwhp and has this decal on the back of this mongoose with a cobra in its mouth and it says mongoose on the back. Its a bit cheesy but its cool.

800-900 rwhp on a street car is very rare to see... hell... i have 440rwhp and i already have had problems with the tranny so i had to buy a new one... on mt streets i still spin some. i cant imagine with double the power.... wouldnt you need billet rods and stuff to take that power level? i didnt think that forged is good enough up that high...

Yeah i forgot to include the t56 viper spec tranny. All the fuel bs is included in that kit. I also didnt include the little things like manifold and tunning and all that bs. I just brought out the major points. Also ill need a totally new rear end. I dont think even the eaton can to 8 to 9. You guys are all so skeptical. There are a lot of weekend warriors out there running near 1000 hp. Its pretty much a total car rebuild but itll be what i bring out to eat all the gt's that have a kenne bell and a boost cooler that think they're bad. Im going with all new drivetrain from the engine to the tires so there will be no weak link. 1000 hp is optainable on a twin turbo race spec 5.1
