i raced a 5.7 gto at the track.... he only beat me by a 1/10th of a second. chalk it up to poor driver or whatnot it was pretty slow. i think i only ran a 14.4 then also. which i have done better than now so who knows. i do know the 6.0l and the 5.7l raced one another and the 6.0l just demolished the 5.7l. i think the 5.7's are overrated
