Default Prochamber with SLP's???

Ok i am about to redo my exhaust system, right now i have a prochamber with flowmasters and turn downs. Its really really deep, but it just not loud enough, and its not what i want.

So here is what i want to do, but i can't make a decision on which.....i'll either

1) replace the prochamber with an H-Pipe

2) replace the mufflers with slp loudmouth II's

Which do you guys think would be better, i'll probably end up doing both but not right now. So what should i do first??

Get the LM II's and leave them as turndowns, that would sound awesome!

Yes, my setup is very loud outside the car and gives a little interior resonace but probably not nearly as much as flowmasters. Just remember the louder you make your car with turndowns the louder its going to be in your car.

It all depends on personal preference and how loud you want your car to be. Any o/r midpipe with either LM muffler is going to be the loudest but is also going to have some popping. Any catted midpipe is going to be slightly quieter than the o/r version and will not have the popping. A lot of people prefer h-pipes with LM I's and x-pipe with the LM II's. Try www.mustanexhaust.com and listen to a few varations to find what suites you best.

You can buy just the mufflers from pretty much any place where the catbacks are sold. If you get the LM I's and leave them with turndowns its going to sound "similar" to no mufflers. I say similar because all the LM I's are is a resonater which is straight through, although it will change the sound of the exhaust slightly (vs no mufflers). Also, putting a straight through muffler on a turndown system is probably going to make you loose a little in the low rpm range. I've never heard a LM muffler with turndowns so I cant tell you exactly how its going to sound. With the LM mufflers you either love them or hate them. Decide if you like the tone before you buy them and then go from there.
