Default building a blown 4.6 or 5.4?

Im starting to build a motor for my 04 gt for this winter project. Goal, around 550rwhp and good torque curves. Im thinking about a 5.4 buildup? whats yalls take on a 5.4? I wanted to build a 4.6 with forged internals stage 2 heads cams and a procharger. But what about a blown 5.4? Can some of yall give me advise on that. How dificult is it to build a 5.4? I was wondering because i came across a 5.4 block for 225

Only way to do a 5.4 and make it a worth while deal is a 5.4 with Navi. heads. 5.4 2V's are TQ monsters, but really don't do much in the HP area.

You don't need a H/C/I + forged assembly in a 2v to make 550 whp, or a 5.4L MPH has several cars making 550+ on the stock heads/intake, with just a set of their custom blower cams.

If you hit up the forums you can see the videos there from their dyno days, and a couple of car specific dyno videos. They have a vortech SQ making like 550 NON INTERCOOLED (!) with their cams, a forged shortblock, and a otherwise stock motor. They also have a intercooled novi 2000 making I think 601 WHP with the stock heads/intake.

Beileve me, you are not going to be worrying about a lack of torque making 550 WHP. I am making real close to 400 WTQ on a stock shortblock and these dammed N/A cams.

I was just wondering because i figures i could build a forged short either 4.6 or 5.4 for the same price. Thats why i was thinking about it. I mean you dont see a supercharged 5.4 in a mustang ed ya no. But What do yall think would be easier/better for power wise and being streetable?
