best exhaust setup?
Whats your input on the best exhaust setup for 99-04 cars? I want to use flowmaster mufflers, I heard the 40 series is the most aggressive, do I go with an H pipe or the x pipe? My friend tells me go with the x but i heard the H is louder I like the real throaty sounding cars that have that loud 4.6 sound even just cruising slow.....what do you recommend for me? sound clips would be great...thanks

obviously it all depends on the sound your looking for, if you want it to be free flowing or street legal, stainless steel or not ... go to mustangexhaust.com or streetfire.net and search and find what YOU think is the best sounding exhaust. after doing lots of research and listening to many clips of all different setups i finaly decided on my lm II's and i couldnt be happier.

Best sound an H pipe, Best Flow X-Pipe, after like 3400 the H is usless. You will get more HP and Flow with an X. So Power(not that much at all) over sound... I would listen to them in person, online is nothing at all compaired to real life muscle
