Default suspension

I would like to know what else I should look into when I do my suspension on my 97 GT. I am putting in Ford Racings Handling Kit that includes increased rate Mustang springs, anti-roll bars, shocks and struts tuned for use with this package. I am also putting in Moog Ball Joints, Strut Mounts, and Tie Rod Ends. Let me know what else is out there that I might need when I do all this work.

new caster camber plates? get MM 4 point if u can... dont get the UPR sharks, they make alot of noise..

also a Strut tower brace or some sub frame connectors would be nice if u really wanna stiffen her up some more.

you shouldn't need c/c plates. ford springs don't drop that much

Make sure you get subframe connectors. Kenny Brown has a lot of information on their site even if you don't buy their stuff. I did however, and think that it was the best money I spent. I have the matrix subframe system and although it gave the car a little stiffer ride I could feel the power hooking up much better. Remember all the power in the world is no good unless you can get it to the ground and thats the suspension baby.........Don't skimp here or you'll regrett it later. I have a Kenne Bell S/C and I'm making 381rwhp and can run low 12's on drag radials (might break into the 11's this fall) and without the suspension mods there would be no way. Research and then shop for price.....thats what I did and am very happy.

Sorry to hijack, but.....

My 97 Cobra is starting to make rediculous squeeking from the rear suspension. What is the probable cause and what are the best replacements? It was lowered 2" by the previous owner, and I doubt it has camber plates.

Thanks,
Matt
