Default 3v vs 2v

So what's difference about the new 05+ 3V 4.6 besides the the obvious fact of 3V's??? Are the tranny's different? And whats the max power that the engine can handle??? These engine are making a decent amount more power than then 2v's with just a blower so there's got to be something special or atleast better about them. I searched and didnt turn up to much helpful info. I'm sure i just overlooked the same exact question i am asking now so dont tar and feather me and then drag me behind a wagon. I am just curious has anyone looked into that swap into a 99-04 and would it even be worth it. This question is basically just to feed my brain i always like to learn something new so maybe if this qeustion is asked again yous guys dont have to asnwer anymore i can.

The heads are a completely new design with not only 3v per cyl, but better overall flow, and they use varible cam timing as well. this means the engine computer will retard or advance the timing depending on conditions to maximise power.

I have seen 3v engines making more power on the stock rotating assembly than 2vs, but I have also heard that the piston design is weaker on the 3v engine assemblys, so its kinda up in the air at this point. No doubt the superior intake/head flow of the 3v engine is helping make more horsepower with less strain (and boost) on the engine.

This is a fact. The more valves you have the better flowing engine your gonna have. The 3v also have the vvt. As far as power i think their blocks are just as good as our blocks around ~425 WHP. Its just easier for them to get to that power. The tranny in the 05+ Gt is the same as the 01.5-4 gts the tr 3650. The autos in the 05+ GT have the new 5 speed.
