Ok, this guy is on this other forum that has been talking some major shi^. I want to hear from you guys if this is true (he won't provide time slips) This guy owns a 99 Cobra (non-supercharged-from what he's said), and he is saying he is running low 11's. Hard for me to believe that these few mods can take off like 3 seconds in a 1/4 mile from stock form. Here's his info. There's no way... is there? Or am I just that ignorant of Mustang's potential?

99 Mustang Cobra DOHC v8
Ford Racing polished and ported heads
Shorty Heads
Flowmaster exhaust
Ford Racing 42lb Injectors

That is a really strange mod list anyways. I really don't see that happening though, unless he's hidding nitrous.

That's what I thought too. Unless he's hiding a 400 shot

Well we think this guy is just there to talk crap.

Well if that's all he's got and running 11's I'll be sure to hit the friggin 10's if not 9's, lol He's full of sh*it in my opinion. HE could be running a 300 shot which is insane but it can be possible.

Ok, I'm not that ignorant.

What would some injectors, heads, and headers make a 99 SVT run. Take off about .5 or so in the 1/4?

Perhaps he's running 11's in the 1/8 mile

Also, why would you spend money on injectors if that's all you have for mods? Am I missing something?

Allright, let me explain a little further. There are these two new guys on this civic forum I go to. One has a SHO (which he says is stock and would beat me from a 20 roll) teh second has this SVT Cobra. They only talk shi^ and are always on the same team. I think it's the same guy and when he said he is running low 11's I thought it was rather suspicious if he only had those mods. They onlyl seem to be exhaust what not. No intake, PCM/ECM (whatever you guys call it here) tune, or anything else...

Anyways... I guess I'll just call him out later.
