I searched but couldnt really find anything, so what are the ratings on the sn95s (hp/tq). i think there was a change in maybe 97? I dont really know much about the sn95 but am trying to learn.

215 horsepower 285 lb/ft torque

they are great until you wanna race, after about 4000 rpm they just fall off

hence next year i'm buildin a new motor

I dont get why everyone makes the mistake of calling just 96-98s sn95s. SN95 were from 96-2004 so its about 215 HP for 96-97 ponies 225 for 98 and bout 260 for 99+

thanks for the info. BUT sn95s were actually from '94 - '98. i just didnt know about the power of the 4.6 sn. the new edge mustangs ('99 - '04) had the same 4.6 but with some factory modification, but they got a different name.

True, but everyone usually just refers to the 99+ stangs as "new edge" hence why people usually just think 96-98

edit: oh yeah, sn's also include 94,95 stangs as well.

sn95 is actually 94-04 but the magazines dubbed the 99-04 new edge to make it easier to distinguish the pi cars and updated body style from the previous.
