Default car starting problem

We been having a wet week/weekend over in NJ and finally the rain let up and I tried to start my car. It will crank and crank, but it wouldnt go over. Then finally it went over and then it stalled. I tried it again, and the same thing happened. I tried it one more time with some gas (for about 5 secs) and it kept the RPM up and I could ride it. I tried it again today, same issue.

I assumed it was a battery problem so I checked the leads and everything was good.

Spark plugs have been changed around 40k or so ago
Gas filter around 15k
Battery, no idea
Oil is around 2k

Anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like the fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator is bad.

I hope not.... two things that will cost a pretty penny

What PSI should my fuel be when my cars off?

Again sounds like a fuel related issue. Fuel Filter is like $10.00 and a new pump somewhere about $150.00 not that expensive really. I just bought an SVT Focus pump for $104.00. Also possibly check your MAF to make sure it's clean and tight on the hoses. but more like thanelu it's a fuel issue.

After car has been off, the fuel pressure should be between 30 to 40 psi.
