275s and full suspesion mods = i still cant get any damn traction!!! Damn these HP adding bolt ons!!!

You need drag radials or just some better tires. Hooking up shouldn't be a problem with 280 or less WHP.

for me, 1st @ WOT is nothing but a smokeshow unless the nittos are really hot and I'm on a real sticky surface.

The other day, while racing a stock 03 vert (lol) I had tire spin all the way thru 1st and 2nd, going downhill no less. My next mod needs to be some 31 splines and a set of MT's apparently.

Can you say brake stand. You could smoke the living $#!+ out of it in first. Just learn how to do a brake stand.

what tires are you running?

Not spinning the tires is a good thing though. Spinning the tires means your not getting a good launch, so if your stang hooks and plants you should be glad your getting out of the hole well.

it has never been able to burn other the power braking it. it wont chirp in first but it does get a good second gear scratch. its also kinda hard to get the car to slide side ways the traction control light flashes right when any bit of tire spin the it hooks right up. I thought it was because it was auto that it couldnt do a burnout.
