thats what im trying to figure out...some say that if you turn the car off then take it out they wont be able to tell

Gar4pt6, i'd say if you were close to kansas in anyway, then i'd have you bring the stuff to my house if and when they put the device into your car. I'd attempt to have it figured out in a matter of a hour or so. I love to mess with electronics/cars/computers.

That is a tight looking car though. (wishes my 95 was that good looking)

no problem man, i hope to have mine running soon. I miss driving it, just got it started back up from sitting and now I gotta wait and get the 5 speed for it. Then I'll be having fun again.

I think I would plug it in- and take it for a "test drive" to about 140, come back and say-- Did it work?




Seriously though I wouldnt do that . I would just repect their wishes and all though it sucks right now just understand that it is for a good reason, and im sure they care a lot about your well being. If you play by the rules the sooner the chip will come out.
